The second race in the series starts at 7.30pm from the Baron's Rest, Astley Village, Chorley.
In the first race the only clubs representatives were Emma Flanagan and myself. It would be nice to see a few others there on what is a fast, flat course and short enough that it doesn't interrupt training too much.
The Southern Softie must fancy his chances on this course, it would be just like running round the smoke but without the smoke.
Back in the early 90s the club usually had a large contingent running and I think Dave Lewis still holds the course record. I'm not sure what it stands at but I don't think anyone gets near it these days.
