| Ill be doing this hopefully. Its a new route this year its alot better as theres no climb up the cobbles and path to the tower. It starts in the woods and climbs up to the tower the same way you descend on the old route. |

I see the nasty hill up the cobbles have been taken away, ooh the decent at the finish as well, the distance cut from 5-6 miles down to 4 miles, feed stations added?
I believe next year the new course will be on the M65, 2 hills in the event, the decent down the slip road and the ascent back up the slip road on an out and back course, feed station at the turn around point (i believe McDonalds have got wind of this and are building a take away in time for the event), and finally full medical support including air ambulance for anyone who's heartrate goes above 90 bpm, no safety pins or cotton wool, category Y fell race (z would be totally flat with no nasty hills). |

Sounds like the race no longer has a decent descent for a descent fell runner like myself. Just as well I'm off on my hols tomorrow. Reminds me, I must pack me sunnies. See you all in a week. |

I hope so rick etts, (there my letter s does work if i hit it hard enough).
I just went off Nicks e-mail and i have yet to read the attachment that came with it.
The e-mail sounded like the cobbled hill start had been removed and the descent near the finish, the distance cut, and it is now first time fell runner friendly, any reason for the changes? |

Hopefully I will be back from Liverpool in time to do this, but I wont be going home, so if anyone has any spare pins please will you bring them along for me?! I have lots and lots at home and the one time I need them I've not got any on me!!
Thank you! x |

| Top showing from the club with 24 runners racing. Heather Corbishley first lady, Brendon Taylor 2nd in the mens. Tough slog for a 4 mile race. |

I see Jon Swan did this race. Haven't seen him in an age. Anyone ask him when he's coming back to club nights? Maybe you're reading this Jon. We miss you |
