on the tops!Thursday after Liver hill sees the off-road group start-up again.Due to the early season ,please be prepared by bringing waterproof top,hat & gloves, I go for trail shoes rather than fell shoes on these runs because of better cushioning and lets face it, Peel Holdings has covered most of Scout moor in concrete by now.
Please be ready for a 7oclock start. We usually cover 5ive to 6ix miles and wait for everyone.

Seems to me you've answered some invisible question.
Are we doing something a little more structured on the fells or just doing the normal thrash round?

last year we did start of doing hill reps. on the fields over the rugby pitches but as summer went on we ended up doing 1-1.30 hour runs. The thing is running up and down the valleys gives the faster people a chance to stretch out up the hills anyway. What we did on the longer climbs was split it up into sections the gaps between people wasn't to much.
What we may do is alternate a structured session on say tues ,with a 'sight seeing 'run on thurs .

Sounds good.
As you know need some help on the runnable hills, i'm ok with the ones you have to climb up.

try cycling. Before running I used to be a club level cyclist ,road racing and time-trialling ,I notice a difference in climbing ability running wise after i've done some training 'round the local hills on me bike.
Jed was talking about getting a turbo-trainer ,in which case God help use.
