In a SHOCK statement it can now be exclusively revealed on this forum that Sothern Softie may run Hendersons End fell race. In a recent interview with this corespondent the diminutive roadie is alleged to have stated an interest in the thursday night event.
In a BOLD move that may be seen as provocative in some circles, the chirpy cockney will be certain of a warm welcome by the fell running fraternity. |

It's no shock within the road fraternity. Having run two marathons in 6 weeks he told me he needed something less intense and a couple of weeks worth of rambling, seemed the perfect answer. Each to his own I say. |

Maybe to give his wallet a rest an all..........Edinburgh marathon £41 ,don't know what the London thingy cost, but I bet it wern't cheap.
Just out of interest ,is next years London entry fee in line with inflation i.e. up 3% from this year? |

London is, IMHO actually very good value at around £28. More than your average fell race but for all that goes on not bad at all. I think the price has stayed fairly stable over the years, certainly better value that the Great North /Manchester runs. |

Good turn out for this race from rossy.
Well done all.
It was nice not to run and shout abuse, sorry encouragement at club members.
Well done to the juniors too. |
